So last night my boyfriend and I had sex without a condom and he ejaculated inside of me. The thing is, I'm scheduled to take Nuvaring out tonight. I'm hesitant, though, because I read somewhere that sperm can linger in the vagina for a few days. If I take Nuvaring out tonight, is there any chance that I'll get pregnant? I don't really want to take it out I a week but if I must, I will.
Nuva Ring keeps you from ovulating. If there is no egg released, there can be no baby no matter how much sperm is present. As long as you use the ring the way you are supposed to and taking it out on schedule, there are no worries. The ring itself doesnt block sperm, it just secretes hormones that stop your ovulation. So you can rest assured when you take it out. You can even have sex on your ring free week without worry

I haven't used a nuvaring for the past year, but found three that have been in the fridge and don't?
