It should not be done and if you give it without questioning it, there could be a problem you'd have to answer for. Its not recommended and we are supposed to know when you shouldn't give meds. I once refused to give digoxin to someone with a pulse of 50 the doc got ticked, so I handed him the key to the meds and told him he could give it. He didn't.
