What are the approximate odds of an inappropriate or "excessive" dosage of birth control implants (the kind implanted in the arm) causing a resultant, lifelong allergy to dairy, or lactose intolerance? It seems quite far fetched... just trying to determine how likely her claims are.
My response is my reaction to Norplant didn't involve milk or other food.. my daughter has the implant and craves milk.. so no problem there just a weight issue on the rise. I had severe reactions which warranted a removal.. gush of blood, randomly. Anemia, severe cramps with loss of work. A lot of big things. Not something to which my body could do naturally.. have her switch to soy milk I drink it everyday due to my Synthroid. My thyroid blowing out was also linked to the Norplant. A year later I received a check for $1000.00 due to the fact I would have to take medication the rest of my life. So I'm not sure if a milk intolerance would be enough to substantiate a claim.
