I've been using 'normosol r' since July for our 20 yr old cat and it has helped immensely with his renal failure and the quality of his final years. He needs the fluids every other day. Suddenly they say they can not obtain this product and have substituted a fluid called 0.9% sodium chloride. He is not reacting as well on this and I am very concerned and upset that the Veterinarians no longer can obtain the Normosol r. Why, out the clear, would a product that does so much good for humans and animals to survive, be dropped? I would really like some answers and a solution. Our cat has been like his old self, and happy until this weeks change. Please if anyone can give answers or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
