I have been diagnosed for 2 years now and just recently started getting immense pain in my hips. My left hip is definitely worse than my right though. I cant sleep on my side without being woken up in pain and going from sitting to standing causes pain as well.
I have heard of a few patients complain about joint pain from Hashimoto's Thyroiditis but do not know why it is that they experience and increase in pain. Because most of them do not have a clear reason to be experiencing this pain I wonder if it is not an Autoimmune response similar to the disease itself.
Good luck with it and make sure you mention it to your Endocrinologist.
