Is this a normal amount of drugs for afribb heart:conjestive heart failure ?
She is right. They will often use a lot of drugs when trying to save someone. Congestive heart failure is when the heart is not working well as a pump and a person in CHF can retain a lot of fluid in the heart and lungs, pair that up with a-fib which is when the atrial chamber of the heart is quivering instead of contracting effectually and it is a very dangerous condition. If they cannot get the fluid off the heart and lungs and get the atrium to start pumping effectually the person will die. It is very unfortunate. I'm very sorry this happened to your husband. This must be a very difficult time for you. It sounds like they did everything they could for him. Sometimes, it is just a persons time no matter what is done.
