Is it not normal to bleed after you have sex ?

Bleeding after sex could be caused by many things.
First of all, you need to ensure that you are up to date with your smear test. That's very important to rule out any serious causes of bleeding during/after sex.
If you are a virgin, then you can bleed when you first have sex, due to the breaking of the hymen (piece of skin across the opening of the vagina).
Sometimes intercourse can cause your period to start, if it was ready to do so anyway.
If you are unsure, then it's a good idea to visit your sexual health clinic or doctor, to rule out a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
Hope that helps.
