What in the world are you doing to yourself?? If you just started Nordette then it takes 7 days to work so you are supposed to use back up BARRIER protection like condoms. Then to take Plan b somewhere in all of this mess? Yes, it is possible for you to get pregnant (and you dont get there by falling) because you havent followed the directions of taking oral contraceptives (the Pill). Do you ladies and gentlemen know how to use condoms? I have never heard of so many broken condoms in my life as what we get on this posting board! Since you took Plan b along with birth control pills, you may have increased side effects and irregular periods. Dont stop taking the Nordette if that is your regular daily pill. Keep taking the Pill once a day. It may take a few months but you should straighten out. You need to be using condoms as back up until you have taken 7 consecutive days of active pills before you can rely on the Pill for full contraception. Make sure the condom is the correct size to fit your bf and when putting the condom on be sure to leave a reservoir at the tip so leave a bit of the tip of the condom hanging down. Dont pull it smooth over the tip of the penis or it will break. Also be sure you are NOT using any oil or petroleum based lubricants like baby oil, petroleum jelly or what have you with condoms because oily greasy lubricants break them down. KYJelly is okay. Be sure any lubricants you use are compatible with condoms and dont use a codom that has been in your bf's wallet for the past few weeks since warmth from his pocket can break them down and render them prone to breaking upon use.
Why don't they teach you kids about safe sex. Keep taking nordette, and use a condom for the first 7 days. This time is not negotiable, 7 days means 7 days. Taking all those hormones at once can give you nausea, swollen tender breasts and bloating. Your period isn't going to be the same time every month until this straightens out.
