... supposed to have my period on the 23rd, no signs of pregnancy but no signs of period either. Help?
When you use an ecp it can make your period late. It is also possible you got pregnant. All you can do is use a pregnancy test and see what is happening.
ECP's have only about an 80% efficacy rate when used correctly which is only about 5-10% more effective than using nothing at all and by not using it correctly you probably didnt really even protect yourself any more than using nothing at all. Thank goodness we do not get pregnant every sexual encounter. We have about a 3 day window each month in which we are fertile so hopefully you missed your fertile days and did not get pregnant but by taking the birth control hormones, since they are designed to delay ovulation, they can delay your cycle. If you are not pregnant, it should return to normal next cycle or the one after.
