..and I need an alternative. I have really bad back pains and they gave me Norco 5/325 pills but the problem is I have a esophageal stricture as of the last month which makes it super hard for me to take pills so they get stuck I didn't know it could be in liquid until tonight so maybe I can ask next time but for now I took one tonight because I'm in alot of pain and it had a super hard time going down I only take them maybe 2 or 3 a week but I am looking for a safe easier way to make them softer or something so they can go down better does any one have ideas I don't want to get sick or anything so idk if I should crush it any advice on what works for anyone that has similar problems would be greatly appreciated thank you.
You should contact your pharmacist and they can let you know if it's ok to dissolve before you take (I have to do this with one of mine) or if there's a better alternative method. If you use a compounding pharmacy then you may be able to have the medication made for you in a different form, for example, as liquid. Best wishes.
