what type of disorders are Benzodiazepines used for in non-psyciatric purposes
Hello David Phillips. First thought that came to my mind is for sleep. Benzodiazepines have two classifications. Anxiety disorders and sleep disorders. Having a sleep disorder is not a psychiatric disorder.(My own point of view) I don't believe its catagorized as such by the AMA. Valium and Librium have been perscribed to help ease muscle aches and tension. I'll add below when/if I come up with anything else. Best of wishes,pledge
