I can't take NSAIDs,ibuprofen, Aleve because of a GO bled. I am having a hip replacement and I need to know if anything is available that is NOT OTC. My pain, I am told, Will be quite bad for several weeks. My pain tolerance is low and it's the holidays! So I need help.
Carjar6; Really the thing to do is make sure your doctor knows this and also prior to the surgery the Anastasia doctor when they use the i.v. the method they can get away with types of things that you would normally not be able to use. So try not to worry about it. What type of reaction to opiates do you get But either way they will be able to find a way to keep you comfortable for the time you are on the mend.
