I have a lot of pain day & night. I take 2 norco 10-325 every four hours. If not for them I wouldn't be able to do anything.
If your situation was in Australia, you would have to see the pain clinic after a referral to see the pain clinic and you would find that people with multiple mestasizing cancers; it's pretty much open slather on pain relief. We don't believe in punishing sick people. The palliative care people are useful to talk to as they provide really impartial advice and will even write to or call your pain management doctor.
Pinklilly64; Even here in the U.S.A. Makes no difference you go to your cancer doctor or your primary and tell them about the severe pain you are in and tell them you know that all this Tylenol is not good for you and you need something else that well get your pain under control. This is not good for your condition either. If you have not called the doctor by now call right away. They have much better ways of controlling pain than what they are giving you. I am in Remission from Hodgkins Lymphoma with soft tissue meaning heart,liver spline and all around my rib's. And they gave me no problems about pain or anxiety medication. You or a family member need to talk to the doctor now. by the way, mine was also stage 4 So keep the faith, Think Positive, and don't listen to negative people. You can beat this. Chuck1957 Oregon.
