It says in the direction to tell your doctor if you experience wheezing or asthma before trying the product, well I don't have full blown asthma but I have a form and I wheeze a little. Should I not start this nicotrol inhaler?
Nicotrol Inhaler has not been specifically studied in asthma . Nicotine is an airway irritant and might cause bronchospasm. Is your doctor aware you have asthma? Assuming he/she is aware you could cautiously try the inhaler. If it makes your asthma worse stop and see your doctor. You may need to try another type of nicotine replacement.
