Hi Tracey, nicotine is the hardest drug to get off of, be good to yourself. I smoked for 37 years and had to quit. I made myself sick with COPD and emphysema. So I started chewing Nicorette. It's been 5 years. That gum has a ton of sugar in it. And rotted my teeth. I chewed it compulsively & just started cutting back. ( I overdid everything in my youth. Moderation was a bore.) And at 59 years old I am paying the price with rotten teeth and high blood sugar. I really struggled, until I saw my dentist last week and was forced to face the damage nicotine has done to my teeth - from cigarettes and gum. Smoking is my biggest regret in life. May my experience help you, Tracey, and good karma always be with you. Remember, you are never alone.
