I'm really worried that it's going to put a negative effect on my after After I get it taken out... Not being able to get pregnant.
You can return to fertility within a cycle after the removal of the implant. Even without birth control, it can often take 6 mos to a year to get pregnant. Ovulation is a tiny window and conditions must be just right. I dont know why but it always seems easier to get pregnant when you DONT want to. A woman is fertile only about 2-4 days of each cycle. No worries about the implant, as soon as it is removed, blood levels of the hormones quickly drop off and the body will signal to begin ovulating, it may take a cycle or two to begin ovulating regularly but the majority of women succeed in getting pregnant by 6 mos to a year after they begin trying. many women are pregnant quicker than that!
