Hi, i'd like to know if anyone has heard about the new smaller androderm patch? Im currently on the larger 5mg patch and are looking to change. I've been on hrt for 12 years for male hypogonadism and have tried numerous therapys. My biggest concern with the larger patch is the stickability with excessive sweating. Any information or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Geoff.
The 5mg patch is no longer an option. The new 4 mg patch (and 2 mg) are all that is available now. When you start the new 4 mg patch I suggest you get your level tested in 6 weeks or so. When I started the new 4 mg patch I found my levels dropped from being over 490 to 134. I think something is wrong with the new patch! Until more men start to report the problem I doubt the company will admit it. But then again... it could have been a bad lot that had no T at all in the patch.
