Just diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. Also dealing with pain over my liver area, and tachycardia when simply going up the stairs. It seems like all of these ailments came on in about the span of a few months time and now I'm extremely upset and frustrated!!! Before this I was in good health, but overweight. Now I've put on about 20 more lbs and feel awful most of the day, super tired, yet insomnia! Everything seems like it's going crazy! If you have any advice I would appreciate it
Ditch your OB for a reproductive endocrinologist. I love love love my OB but he just didn’t know enough to help with the PCOS and specifics. There is way more than hormones and weight gain. You need a specialist that can guide you through how to manage symptoms and lifestyle changes. You’ll meet with a dietician and go over how diet changes can help with some symptoms. It’s a struggle but it’s managable. Good luck!
