I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question? I have been on lisinopril for about 3 years. no problems worked good for my slightly high blood pressure. I have had benign heart palpitations for about 15 years. A week ago today. My palpitations turned into afib and landed me in the hospital for the night. My pulse was 170, my doctor put me on metoprolol 25 mg. But when I take it my blood pressure goes 106/66. that part does does not frightens me, however my pulse goes to 48. that is a tad scary to me. my pulse is never high. I think maybe this med might not be for me. I am not dizzy or light headed. But I do notice being a little more tired in the mornings. I swim every morning, and I feel a little sluggish. Should I stay on it and give it a chance to equal out? Just wondering your experience with it. I have a call into my Doc. Thank you.
