Hi everyone I tried clicking on my friends to ask a private question and saw no link to do this? Iam trying to reach robert_325 I just added him as a friend he hasn't friended me yet.I really need his help with the question that I posted regarding my fioricet addiction and the taperring plan that my dr put me on.I hate addiction. I'm thinking about going to aa or na and trying it again.has anyone found either of those helpfull? Addiction has ruined my life and I despertely need to talk to ppl here that understand.thanks for listening.
Robert prefers that you start a thread to him on the forum/discussion board part of the site. All I know is you look for the prompt saying forum/discussion board and go there, not real tech savvy myself. You can also go to anyone's profile by clicking their avatar, then it may automatically have a prompt saying ask a private question or you may have to friend them and wait for them to see it friend you back. Robert can be hard to get to either way, my suggestion is to ask LaurieShay, I am pretty sure she can help you with that pretty quickly. Best of luck, hope this helps, pattishan61
I'm running late for work so have to make this a quickie. If you will friend me and I will friend you, we can talk about the taper plan. I will need to know what dose you are taking and how often and what the doctor recommeded. Send me a private message when you can.
Let me just say that I private questioned Robert over a month ago, and he has not responded. I don't say that negatively, I just think that he no longer is available for questions.
I have successfully tapered from Suboxone, and have LaurieShay and Pattishan to thank. They have been soo helpful, encouraging and supportive. They are very knowledgeable and have lots of insight.
Congratulations on wanting to quit fioricet. Seriously. I understand ur pain and I agree, you definitely need na, a sponsor, work the 12 steps, and most importantly, you need to allow God to help you.
We are all here together, nonjudgmental, and you will find alot of positive feedback. Keep hanging in there, and I hope you will follow advice and you will soon be addiction free. Let me tell you, it is such a freedom that I don't take for granted, and you will find that this site is alot of support. Just be sure to get all your ducks in a row.
I will pray for you, as that is the key.
