Hi! I'm new to the group and just wanted to see if others are experiencing similar side effects and how it's working for others like me. I was given the starter pack by my pcp after being on Zoloft for about 7 years. I am on Day 5 on 10 mg. I noticed a change in my energy level by Day 2, which was exciting. I've had a few periods of anxiety since starting it, but I've started tapering my caffeine intake and I think this might be helping. I haven't had any insomnia. I've had occasional stomach issues, but nothing debillitating. I find eating when I take it helps a lot. Sometimes I feel a little foggy and light headed, but I'm chalking this up to being on something new. I am only taking Viibryd... nothing else. I've laughed more than I have in years in the last 5 days. I'm becoming more social and able to handle social situations a lot better. I've read many reviews in which people hate it and come off it. I know it's only been 5 days, but I feel like a new person... the old me. Has anyone been on it longer than 6 mo? If so, how are you doing now?
Hello. Something for you to think about. Complaints for everything occur. People who are doing very well seldom speak up unless they write regularly on this site. The real answer for you is of it is working then stay on it. We are all so different physically, emotionally, coping skills, life events. One med works great for you. Another works great for me. Congrats on doing better. Between this new med and working with a good therapist, you will improve steadily.
