According to the interaction checker you can't even take Tylenol for a headache or cold medicines or cough syrup. What do you do if you catch a horrible cold? Just suffer? I'm nervous about starting my new contrave prescription.
You can take contravene with contravene. You just can’t do it all the time or if you have existing liver problems, which you shouldn’t probably take contravene either. You have to avoid the cough medicine dextromethorphan specifically that’s really important. You can take Benadryl at night if you’re coughing. It’s good to cough during the day. It’s just bad at night because it keeps you awake.
