I have had treatment resistant major depressive disorder with anxiety and complex ptsd issues now for 13 long years. I have tried every drug out there. I should be a licensed pharmacist by now, that's how much I know about stuff. I don't hear much about anything new coming out since Brintellix. Boy was that a disappointment. Especially since they said it was helpful in cognitive functioning, which I have lost much.
If anyone has heard anything would love to know. Many thanks and may we all "walk in the sun" soon...
I'll stick to the cool earth thank you, as for new meds, Doctors are always getting sales calls from pharm companies, that's who has the best heads up. I can relate, I was in the same boat for several years.
Might want to consider, if you haven't already, a combination of medications. I took two different antidepressants, Wellbutrin and Pristiq, along with Abilify to enhance the antidepressant properties of the others. Worked real well.
