My neurologist reccommended it as I am leery of Lyrica.
Gabapentin didn't work for my neuropathy pain; however, many people get relief from it. Also lyrica didn't help me, but helped others. Gaba is cheaper than lyrica, so in my opinion I would say give the gaba a try. I hope you feel better soon as I know how painful neuropathic pain is. I wish you the best outcome ... pamee
I have Neuropathy as well it is really bad in my feet my right foot actually goes completely dead sometimes I have fallen broke 3 ribs my right foot in 2 places and in september I actually fell down 7 stairs at my house and fractured my tail bone my doctor has put me on gaba (sorry don't know the correct spelling) it did nothing for me but made me feel hungover in the morning and I was only taken 1 100 mg at bed time as far as Lyrica I was on it for a while it really did seem to help but my feet started to swell alot so i had to quit but what time i was on it HELPED me alot..
