Neurontin helps the pain, but I worry about the edema, am I into over kill?
I hope that you have consulted with your dr. already about this.
What dosage are you taking? And if this is a new medication for you it maybe that they did not start you on a low dosage & increase slowly.
They may just need to take your dosage down from where it is now to a lower dose & that may resolve the issue. They may be able to add the Lyrica in to help with the pain but it will have to be a low dose also. I do a combination between Lyrica low dose & a higher dose of Neurontin & I do not have any swelling now that they have them regulated properly.
I wish you well sometimes it is just finding the right dosage balance. Neurontin is a good drug for nerve pain so i wish you well. Kathy
