The VA's response to you is total bull. They still claim they don't know if we were exposed to nerve gas even as it has been proven in 2012 that we were.
Was also in Desert Storm. Came back to develop lung damage, OCD, bouts of shaking with profuse sweating, premature arthritis, blurred vision, etc...
