... kidney is not functioning due to this stone. my left side kidney as a stone 10.2x4.6cm in lower calyx. My Dr asked me to go for a Ureteroscopy. but i'm scared. can i go for an homeopathy treatment?
I understand your fears, believe me, I suffer from recurring kidney stones, mostly because I produce too much calcium oxyalate in my urine, as I have retreived the stones thru a home strainer they give you, I've gone thru so much pain, it is unheard of. I would rather have triplets every year in exchange for a kidney stone anyday.
Onwards and up, you need to have the test or risk having your stones completely shutting down your kidney function, that you do not want, you'll get some answers on to what sort of stones they are, and they may be able to put you on some medication so they don't recur. I am a per/my usual, allergic to the meds they have for stones, so I just suffer thru them, I had 16 in one month about 10 years ago, and I had to have a stint put into my urerethra for a about a year. So far I've only had about one or two every couple months. I've had so many that when I walk into the ER and say, I believe I have kidney stones again, I see the eyes rolling, one nurse "LQQING, at the other, silently thinking I'm certain.. uh huh.. "shhh, drug seeker"., I tell them I'm on a contract for narcotics with my Primary Care Dr. However with stones, they need to start an IV to push the fluids and get the stone moving, and also have access to give intravenous morphine for the pain. I have many medical issues one being chronic pain, how ironic is that eh? anyhow, they check for the "suspicious stones" see that I am correct, and then rush around trying to get an IV in me as fast as they can.
I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to know, I understand the fear, pain, and all that goes with having this problem. Please keep the appointment and come back to the forum and let us know how you're doing OK, I'm not the most seasoned forum person here, so I'm certain you'll get much more advice, lots of support, most of all, you need to know you are not alone and can come back as often as you want for your needs, we all need that some of us more than others. You need to take care of YOU... Lots of Blessings, I wish you much luck in your upcoming test also.
