Does anyone who has taken viread for chronic Hep B stop and now having liver issues? If so, how long did you take viread? What types of living issues are you having? Thanks. Currently, I've taken it for 6 months and very worried about the results after I stop taking if it is not effective for me.
Hep B is nothing to shake a stick to begin with, sweetie. It's a virus, and as far as I know, there is still no cure for a virus, not even a cold. Viread, I just got finished reading the drug monograph to see what's new, by itself can cause liver damage and failure. We can only hope that the Viread lessens the liver inflammation and your liver enzymes start coming down and that you have no untoward reactions or long term effects. If I remember my diseases correctly,Hep B can be either a chronic disease that one just lives with or one that runs a more acute route. One must keep in close contact with your many physicians to keep them abreast of any changes you have and workhard on trying to keep your nutrition up, your exercise of your body to keep it in it's best shape, think only positive thoughts, try yoga, massages, acupressure and anything else in the alternative medicine journals, that has a good chance to keep your emotional, mental and physical self up for the fight and roller coaster ride of your life. Differentiate problems that you do and do not have any control over, the ones that you can do something about and do it, the things you can't... simply let go off. Sounds like words for everyone to live a health and happy and joyous life too.
The rest I read about on Viread concerned HIV... we don't need that. There are no time lines in the information anywhere. Please do not obsess. If anything, write down all of your questions and please ask your doctor.
Peace out jenjan, wishing you nothing but flowers in your hair,
