I can recommend the Thomas recipe as far as dealing with the physical withdrawals. You can google "Thomas recipe" for opiate withdrawals and get a copy of it. As far as the mental part of getting clean, it takes a support network and developing the tools to help you when you are tempted. Addiction's counseling is critical to learning these tools. You mentioned NA, did you stick with the program? You can develop the support network and learn the tools to stay clean here, but you got to go to the meetings ongoing. None of the therapies whether medicinal such as Suboxone or mental such as NA are going to help short term. You didn't develop the addcition overnight and you aren't going to cure it overnight either, to put it bluntly. Addiction is something you contend with the rest of your life. You can get clean and stay clean, but you have to practice a life style change forever to stay that way.
