I am approaching the end of radiation therapy and need to keep my weight up. Foods smell and taste bad. I need to eat. Zofran does not help.
AUNTIELOU2; PLEASE CALL THE DOCTOR RIGHT NOW THEY CAN GET SOMETHING FOR YOU I went through all the same, not one anti-nausea worked for me. but you will be fine thank god your at the end now. But this is what all these special people are there for they do not want us to have nausea or any other side effects. Both I and my wife had cancer at the same time her Breast cancer on her last treatment they finally figured out what I had stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma so don't give up get that call in as soon as you get this you will be okay dear just have a bit more to go. Chuck1957 you call tell them who you are And ask for your doctor or nurse. every ounce counts. all my blessing you can do this. Chuck1957
I would just add that when you feel like you can eat, make it count! My father had esophageal cancer, so eating was a whole other story for him, but drinking things like ensure that have a lot of calories helped. It’s important to stay hydrated because dehydration will worsen nausea. Ice chips are good for that
