I have been expirencing intense nausea with and without vomiting for seven months now. I have had two colonoscopies two endoscopes ultrasound of my stomach/digestive system. MRI of my brain. CT scan of my lower bowel. And a multitude of blood tests and specialists. No one can seem to figure out what is the cause. I've even been put on anxiety meds as whatever this is has been doing me in and making it hard to sleep. The only thing that is certain is I have a mass on my liver that does not appear to be cancerous as that's what I've been told by my doctor and that I also have a hiatus hernia that's too small to cause this issue. Has anyone at all ever heard of such a bizarre amount of time to be nauseated for? Any ideas are welcome as im at the end of my rope here.
I have had nausea for 5 years, i have a hiatus hernia and have been on and off lansoprazole for years but i am now taking 15mg permanently in the morning. I would speak to the doctor about trying this. i started on 30mg, and once most my symptoms reduced i lowered to 15mg, every now and then i take 30mg when needed.
Hi Bailey, my name is Liz, my daughter started having the same symptoms, but vomit for a week or so before we had to take her to the ER. She had all the same tests, all negative but the hiatel hernia. She is 24 now by the way. She was finally diagnosed with CVS, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. No reason why, no cure. There is an entire website on it. She was given every drug in the book. Once she was diagnosed, the gave her Amatriptoline. She has not had another "episode" since. Check it out and see if you have any of the same symptoms. I know it was hell on her, and rest of family. Usually diagnosed in children, but more and more adults are being diagnosed with it. Hope this helps, please let me know!! Bless!!
Well let me know how you do. I will add you to friend list so we can keep in touch. Hope all works out. Yea, she blew all her veins, last time wanted to start one in her foot, she freaked out. They finally found one, but you already on a PIC line, girl, feel horrible for you. There has to be light at the end of the tunnel!!!
