Masso is right about it being a good pain reducer.
I'd like to add my two cents :
Naproxen increases the bleeding time. It does NOT thin the blood out.
It prolongs the bleeding time by affecting the clotting factors.
If you have heavy periods I wouldn't use it. If you have a low hemoglobin/hematocrit it may push you into the anemia numbers.
