Naproxen has been heaven sent. I don't feel any pain at all. It's unbelievable how it's changed my life. But... my cycle has never flowed so heavily. It's scary. I've had major accidents while sleeping and out. I didn't have a heavy flow before taking this

Some NSAIDs can thin the blood. Maybe that is part of it. See your gyno soon because super heavy periods can cause anemia or be a sign of other problems which can be helped. Oral contraceptives or the ring can help with heavy flow. If you have an IUD, that may contribute to the problem. I'm not a medical pro. Good luck.
Hi Alphabet,
Naproxen is like aspirin and thins your blood.
I know it's really helping but the down side is you can become anemic quite quickly. It's not the kind of drug that you adapt to with the bleeding.
Call your doc. There are ways around it.
However, if you decide to stay on it you need to stop several days before your period.
Best wishes
:)
