Since starting zonesimide I have experienced almost the entire list of side effects, including the rare ones! While my migraines have decreased significantly I am wondering if anyone can tell me if they have had the same side effects and/or if they have tried the name brand?
migrainewarrior' welcome to the nasty world of Migraines These are ab rated Generic which means its as close as they can get to the brand name the only difference and its pretty rare is THE BINDERS that keep the medication together are not exact..but all the active medications are the same..And with these expensive ones most insurance company won't pay the price for the brand name.If you are having all these side effects I would call the doctor and let him/her know the problems your having. With Migraines it is very hard sometimes it take more than one thing to keep under control, because they are not always the same In a rare case if you have had the brand then they switched you to the generic doctor may be able to call insurance and get a special request to go back to the brand name... But they may want to use a more current drug for migraines that are out and less side effects..Hope this helps some and you get to feeling better just give the doctor a call..you should not have to suffer long periods of time now days with Migranes... Good luck Chuck1957
