Last Friday, April 28, my Dr. prescribed me 50mg Naltrexone per day to assuage my excessive drinking. So I've had two doses now, Friday night and then again last night. Today is Sunday April 30 and I feel like a complete stumbling zombie with no appetite and very irritable. I have to force food down to eat, and I can barely speak to anyone beyond an incoherent mumble. I feel very uncomfortable in my body right now, and I cannot imagine being productive at work come Monday. I called my Dr. but have not heard back, so I'm posting my issue here in the meantime. Please tell me about your personal experience in regards to initial symptoms. Do they ease up? I hope so. Thank you and best of luck to you all.
eCHOS; until you can reach the doctor I know it takes a while to get used to taking this daily and it comes in different dose's you might try 1/2 tablet until you speak to the doctor that is still enough to help you. And then increase it as you get more used to it. Anyway most have a split in the middle made to be broken this would be safer than trying to go to work and then try and reach your doctor.
