... differnt drug brand ,different pill, but the same dosage, and it doesnt work at all . dont understand, what is the problem ?
They likely gave you a Generic (cheaper) drug. Generic drugs are equivalent to their Brand counterparts.
I'm not a fan of using long term (>30 days) Alprazolam (Benzodiazepines) for insomnia. Sometimes, they can worsen insomnia (cause Rebound Insomnia). Other times, patients build a tolerance to them.
You may be experiencing tolerance. Let your doc know. They may increase your dose.
