I have had MG for about 25 years and have come to the conclusion that you can't beat it, but the best way to cope is to learn how to live with it. I have led a fairly normal life, although I did retire at age 55, shortly after being diagnosed. That was by far the hardest part, having to retire. I will be 80 next birthday, and am still somewhat active. I can't do much yardwork anymore, but most 80 year olds that I know also can't! Just follow your doctor's advice, and keep a healthy outlook on life and I'm sure you'll be able to handle the little inconveniences! Good Luck! free discount card
