I feel for you because I went through what your wife is going through and my husband went through what you are going through. I had a major depression and a psychiatrist prescribed me Seroquel. It made me pace alot and also walk on the spot. I coundn't control it. I finally had a psychoatic episode. I was admitted to a psychiatric floor in the hospital for 6 months before they found the right meds for me. I am taking Manerix 600mg, Lithium 600mg and Trazodone 100mg. I had the shakes really bad with the Lithium at the beginning. I coudn't write my name properly even. I did get hypothyroid from it too, but I am on Synthroid 0.75mg for that so my thyroid is balance. I sleep once again finally. All you can do is be there for her. You need to take over until she gets well. Talk to her psychiatrist and doctors. You need to be her voice because she cannot explain what you are seeing her go through. It takes time for the doctors to get the meds right for her. They need to know what kind of side effects and affects she is going through with each med. I am surprised that they let her out of the hospital before her meds were working for her. That was the longest 6 months of my life. I had my husband and 2 children waiting for me to get better. But now thank God I am finally very well and happy. Don't give up hope Georger. I will pray for you and her. I will friend you if you would like to ask me any private questions. Take care of yourself and your wife. smileyhappy.
