den she starts to cough real bad.She does have asthma my ? is i gave her a singular from the doctor will this calm the coughing down
I am not a doctor but I do have really bad asthma and I don't think Singular is for any ANY type of coughing. Also, adults shouldnt take meds that they arnt prescribed, so for a 7 year old that should go DOUBLE. I was 14 and I had a little cold and my Daddy gave me an antibiotic he had left over from a perscription, it wasnt an hour later that I was breaking out in HUGE painful welts and by the night I couldnt breath and my skin hurt from the SLIGHTEST touch of my CLOTHES. So he rushed me to the hospital and we found out I was allergic to penicilin. The doctor said it was just about to late. I could have died. Your little girl is young enough that even you, her mother, doesn't REALLY know all that she could be allergic to. If her inhaler or whatever she uses for an asthma attack doesnt stop the coughing, just be safe and only give her what a DOCTOR says to give her. And im pretty sure that Singular is mostly for COMMON ALLERGIES, not coughing. I know you love your baby girl or you wouldnt bother to worry, so just be on the safe side. Especially if shes on any type of medical insurance. B/c it doesnt even cost you then.
