My local pharmacy tells me they can no longer get piroxicam. Is it being taken off the market?

Pfizer makes Feldene this is another name for Piroxicam. I would call Pfizer at

Your pharmacy may not be able to get piroxicam due to it being a compounded medication. Compounded means to take two or more ingredients mixed together to make this medication. In order to find out more about prescription drugs talk to your pharmacist or your health care provider.
