My husband was in a exposion and taking 5 different types of nerve and depression pills?

He was taking Abilify but had to come off of it because we could not afford it. It worked really well while he was taking it, he was more active and he could remember where he put things and what he had to do.Before he would put his coffee cup down and could not find it when he went back to get it.
My experience with just plain anxiety/panic disorder and depression is that counseling along with medication is what works. He will get better if he tries and does both. You should probably go to some counseling with him and ask his doctor about the meds. They may need to be adjusted or changed. I am not saying they absolutely do, but, they could. Find out all the side effects of the meds from your pharmacist and make sure all doctors know all the meds he is on. Also have 1 pharmacy so you won't have drugs interacting. Tell your doctor if the meds are too expensive and they may have samples or change them to a generic. Some meds can be filled partially, some can't and you can ask that at the pharmacy to keep from getting an expensive medicine that you or he can't take. Don't be afraid to ask.
