3 years on lortab, you can't be getting much pain control as it's very ineffective as a chronic pain med. It sounds like there is addiction issues here and I would suggest that youlook into getting on suboxone as it is a wonderful drug for addiction. It does have some pain killing qualities but it is really used for opiate addiction.
I have had 4 lower lumbar surgeries and was interested in which surgery you are waiting for?? There is nothing worse then back and sciatic pain. Hang in there and I hope you try the suboxone... Dave
lortab is just another name for vicodin& I understand what your talking about because subutex, first to get the majority of the heavy drugs out of your system then suboxone as a maintance drug. I myself if I took suboxone right now it would make me so sick with withdrawl I'd want to shoot myself because I've been on 100mg morphine & 16mg of dilaudid the same. But since the two you mentioned earlier(Suburex&Suboxone) are mainly used for treating addicts they might get the wrong idea. As for what your talking about that u wanted someone to "understand" but I might be able to get a better idea.
