In clinical trials with Remicade closure of all fistula was achieved in 52% of Remicade-treated patients compared with 13% of placebo-treated patients
There is an increased risk of developing a severe and rare type of lymphoma whilst taking Remicade.(see above link for more details)
You should discuss the risks and benefits of taking Remicade with your GI specialist.
