We were told it would take about 48 hr before it would work, he pass large stools withtin 8 hr, then it turn clear an no more were given,dr states 2 tsp spoon 2*day, he was given it one time an we contiune with prum junice, he is 5 mo old, has been bother with contiption, he was precribe mirlax when he was 2mo old, we change dr, an just found out that was not the right thing to do, when he pass a stool he crys an strains very bad,an his stool be sofe can not understand that please help
The lactulose should be given regularly as prescribed for it to work properly.
