... meds that my family Doc. was giving me that wasn't working. I a hurting so bad but I don't have another appt. for several weeks. Since I'm a new patient, am I supposed to call and tell them what's going on and try to see her early? I don't want to be a nuisance but I had to wait months to even get in to see her. What would be the appropriate way to handle this situation?
If it were me, I would call them and let them know that the meds are not working and ask what the protochol is, can you come in early or does the Dr need to call you back and talk to you. Just be sure to let them know one way or the other, the pain is too great to wait until your next visit and could it be addressed asap.
