i AM HAVING FOOT SURGERY, WAS PRESCRIBED THIS FOR AFTERWARD
Why would he do that i think that is just so wrong apparently he doesnt understand the pain of foot surgery that is not right. What does the label read does he expect you to take one a day? what kind of medication is it? I hope for your sake there is 50xs the strength in each one cause that for damn sure isnt going to help you much.
I t depends on what was ordered and what kind of surgery you are having. While some surgeries can be very painful this is not true of all of them. Likewise some medications are more potent or time-released and thus will take less of them to do the job. Trust that your Dr knows what he is doing, but before you leave, ask him/her what to do if the pain is more than you can tolerate. Be open to using over the counter medications, relaxation, elevation of extremity and other methods to help reduce discomfort.
