I am prescribed vicodin 1 to 2 tabs four times a day as needed. I have been able to reduce to only having to take 2 or 3 and when he tested me it was negative. I asked him to also check for a bladder infection and he didnt 3 days after I gave the urine sample I went back to the doctor and was tested for a bladder infection and I did have one. Can a bladder infection or uti cause the drug test to not show the vicodin?
There seem to be some bad drug tests out there and they are reading negative on lots of pain management patients who swear they are taking their meds. Ask to be retested and always bring your meds with you and offer for the doctor to count them. A bladder infection should not have interfered with the test.Offer to take another test from a different batch of tests to prove you innocence. Yours is one of many post regarding a false negative reading. If the doctor can count your pills, he will know you are not doing something illegal with them.
