I have been reading about symlin and have become concerned I do not have diabetes I have hypoglycemia why would my doctor prescribe symlin I have not read any information stating it is used to treat hypoglycemia. Did he give me the wrong drug/
Do you know what causes your hypoglycemia?
Well Symlin is only indicated for the treatment of diabetes, so if you have hypoglycemia then it looks like your doctor has given you the wrong medicine. I would suggest that you discuss it with your doctor again. The best thing to do to avoid hypoglycemia is increase your sugar intake.
