just in alot of pain and in the middle of early menopause as well. Can this drug be used for my conditions?
Yes. In fact many pain doctors will prescribe an antidepressant first before trying other more addictive narcotics. Many people benefit from antidepressants and it helps a lot of people control their pain level. If this doesn't work for you your doctor will know what to do next. Give it some time and see how it works for you. It may just be the thing that helps. Good luck to you!
your body has diffrent kinds of transmitters norepinephrine and epinephrine ,
these transmitters are released to respond to pain that drud blocks norepinephrine from being relieased. i hope this help in some way, also alot of pain mgt. dr.s prescribe antidepressent and pain drugs at the same time if you are not getting the effect they want
