told it would bring on a cycle 14 days after. It has been 19 days and no cycle... I was prescribed the medicine because I was experiencing an absence of my cycle and also perimenopausal symptoms, hot flashes,insomnia,ect..(i am 44 almost 45) she also decided to put me on lexipro for my extreme anxiety. Could those meds be interfering?? I have never been on any meds before in my life.
Lexapro shouldn't affect hormone levels to the extent that it would prevent a period.
Although they said that after finishing the Prometrium, you'll get your period by 14 days, it could take a bit longer. However, if you still haven't had your period please see your doctor.
